  • Through their “Caring During COVID Initiative,” Children’s instituted flex time opportunities, additional access to childcare for their employees, and in a partnership with Simmons University, allowed clinical staff to stay in residence halls in order to keep their families safe. Read More.

  • Their COVID-19 response, through the WE@Liberty Women + Allies ERG, focused on employee self-care and wellbeing. They offered a time code that employees could use instead of flexible time off, as well as wellness events that were attended by more than 12,000 employees. Read More.

  • Dr. Miriam Bredella addressed a key issue around gender equity in academic medicine: the lack of women participating in promotion-critical activities such as international presentations, visiting professorships, and Grand Rounds. As a result, 36 exceptionally talented women were matched with one to five national and/or international speaking engagements and affiliated mentors. Read More.
